High-voltage 2-in-1 fast charging station VAS 681 019 (short cable)

This MID-approved high-voltage charging station enables combined AC/DC charging of electric vehicles outdoors. The AC charging connection is enabled via a type 2 socket version. The DC charging connection consists of a CCS connector with attached, 4 m long cable. If not used, the charging connector is automatically locked. It is only unlocked again after RFID-based authentication. The high-voltage charging station is not suitable as a mobile charging point.
The charging stations are pre-configured and supplied with a possible connection to the Elli backend system using the built-in SIM card. Other backend systems can also be used – associated costs for this may be charged by the respective supplier. Connection and use of the backend is the user’s personal responsibility.
When selecting a location, please consider the possibility of a stable LTE connection. If no LTE is available, additional measures may be necessary (changeover to LAN or external LTE aerial).
These measures must be implemented independently.
We recommend laying a duplex network cable (CAT 7) as well as the power supply cable for each charging station/home charging station.


Billing:
The special MID-approved electricity meter offers MID-approved billing options for Germany. This charging station can therefore be used in publicly accessible areas in Germany and the kWh can be billed accurately.
The use of a suitable backend is required for correct accounting in accordance with the MID/customer verification laws/legislation.

The high-voltage charging station can either be stood on the floor or optionally secured on a concrete base VAS 681 019/1.
The crash barrier (VAS 681 019/2) in acc. with DIN VDE 0100-722 (and IEC 60364-7-722)

- Billing
- Minimum technical requirements for safe and interoperable design and operation of publicly accessible charging points for electric vehicles
- Please take into account the required maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.

Note on the Elli backend:
After the charging station is installed on site, it is connected to the Elli backend using the built-in SIM card. In the factory configuration, the charging station is in mayor mode, which means that the RFID cards included in the scope of delivery (and other compatible RFID cards) can be used to enable charging processes.
For fee-based use of the Elli software: “Elli Charging Site Management”, you must register with Elli. To do so, refer to the Elli brief guide included in the scope of delivery. It is possible to choose between private and public mode here.
