Home charging station VAS 681 015

This home charging station as a type 2 socket version, including a calibration law-compliant electricity meter is a modern charging solution intended for charging vehicles outdoors using alternating current (AC).
Not suitable as a mobile charging point
As a socket version, including a lock, the home charging station is suitable for public provision.
The home charging station is supplied pre-configured and with a SIM card so that the connection to the Elli backend system is guaranteed.
When selecting a location, ensure that a stable LTE connection is available. If no LTE is available, additional measures may be necessary (conversion to LAN or external LTE antenna).
These measures must be performed independently.
We also recommend routing a duplex network connection (CAT 7) for each charging station/home charging station alongside the supply line.

Billing:
The special MID-/calibration law-compliant electricity meter offers a billing method that is compliant with German law. As a result, this station can be provided publicly in Germany and billed to the nearest kW/h.
For MID-/calibration law-compliant billing, the use of a suitable backend is required. The Elli backend will enable the public provision function and calibration law-compliant billing from Q4/2020 as per current expectations.

- Measurement and calibration laws
- Billing
- Minimum technical requirements for safe, interoperable construction
and operation of publicly accessible charging stations for electric vehicles
- Please observe the maintenance requirements in accordance with manufacturer specifications

Information about the Elli backend:
After the charging station is fully installed on-site, a connection is established via the integrated SIM card to the Elli backend. In the factory configuration, the charging station is in “mayor” mode, which means that the RFID cards included in the scope of delivery and any other compatible RFID card for enabling charging processes can be used (this means that any customer can use the charging station). For fee-based use of the “Elli Charging Site Management” Elli software, registration with Elli is required (for information, see the Elli quick guide included in the scope of delivery). Subsequently, the system can be switched between private and public mode.

Recommended accessories:
This wall bracket can be mounted flexibly on a suitable wall or on a stand VAS 681 009/2 or VAS 681 009/3.
- Stand VAS 681009/2 = 1.208 mm tall (without viewing window)
- Stand VAS 681009/3 = 1.608 mm tall (with viewing window)
For stands VAS 681009/2 and VAS681009/3, a concrete base VAS 681009/2-2 is required. Additionally, a cable holder VAS 681009/2-1 can be mounted on the stands VAS 681009/2 and VAS681009/3.
