The diagnostic router VAS 601 003 enables mobile access to the central systems of Volkswagen AG (e.g. dealer portal, ElsaPro), thus simplifying the implementation of on-site services directly at the customer.
It acts as a mobile VPN gateway that connects to the Central Partner Network (CPN) of Volkswagen AG via the integrated wireless access. On-site end devices such as our diagnostic devices can be connected via the encrypted WiFi access point (wireless LAN) or the existing LAN port. Diagnostic and repair work, as well as individual services, can be carried out directly at the customer regardless of the workshop.
The diagnostic router is authorised in the EU and may only be used in this region. The support is carried out in the same way as the current diagnostic devices. Monthly fees will be collected from the importer for any software updates. A SIM card from a local mobile phone provider is required for proper operation.
