The test instrument trolley VAS 6156 comprises equipment trolley VAS 6556A, test instrument box VAS 6356, battery charger VAS 5908, accessory set VAS 5908/2 for the battery charger and a KENSINGTON lock.
The trolley is partially preassembled. This means that the couplings for the charge leads are already fitted.
The inner charge leads - from the couplings to the battery charger - and the outer charge leads are connected to the couplings by means of a bayonet fitting.
Configuration/searching times can thereby be avoided.
Test instrument box VAS 6356
The test instrument box is used in conjunction with diagnosis units VAS 6150/X and VAS 6160/X to perform all current test instrument tasks during fault finding.
Battery charger VAS 5908
The battery charger VAS 5908 is designed for automated use in workshops.
To ensure that there is no interruption (crash) during diagnosis and programming on the vehicle, it is imperative that support be provided from powerful
battery chargers (buffer operation)
Aside from EPS mode (external power supply), it is possible to charge/recharge 12V motor vehicle starter batteries (lead/gel/AGM/ fleece batteries) without disconnecting them from the onboard supply system.
